- (1882-1938)American Yiddish poet and editor. He was born in Minsk, and went to the US in 1897, where he became an active socialist. From 1913 he was editor of Zukunft, a Yiddish literary and cultural monthly. In his writings he described the heroes and martyrs of the Jewish past.
